In keeping with policies resulting from COVID-19, the 2021 Summer Institute will only be offered via an online platform.
12:00-4:00 p.m., Monday, May 17 - Thursday, May 20, 2021
The Summer Institute provides instruction on contemporary best practices for health professions education with internationally-recognized educators from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina State University and University of Florida. The online platform for the 2021 Summer Institute, Whova, optimizes visibility for sponsors through sponsor banners shown throughout the program on a 5-second rotation as well as live Whova-Zoom call or live demo. Additionally, sponsors will receive acknoledgement at the opening and closing sessions.
We thank you for your desire to support this important program and will be in touch by May 1 to request your institution information (see FAQ below for details). Please complete the questionniare during registration as this information will provide us with the details necessary to provide access to our online platform.
Cost: Sponosrship for the 2021 virtual Summer Institute is $250 and can be paid via credit card (preferred) or check (see FAQ below for details).
REGISTRATION DEADLINE for Sponsors is Friday, April 30, at 5 p.m.
Event FAQ
- Sponsor contacts will be provided access to Whova by May 1.
- Sponsor contacts will be asked to upload a logo (required dimensions are 700px x 210px) and will be provided a link to a sponsor video.
- During the payment process, you will be directed to our payment provider. If you recevie a blank screen during the payment process, you have not completed the registration process and payment. Please be sure the zip code entered in Learning Express matches the credit card zip code or payment will not be successfully processed.
- Check payments: To pay by check, select check as the payment method. Make checks payable to UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and mail them to UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Attn: CIPhER Summer Institute, Suite 250, 100 Europa Drive, Chapel Hill, NC 27517. Checks must be received by May 1.
By registering you are automatically agreeing to:
1. Grant the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (the “University”) the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of me on University and other websites and in publications, promotional fliers, educational materials, derivative works, or for any other similar purpose without compensation to me.
2. Agreeing that such photographs and/or video recordings of me may be placed on the Internet. Understanding and agreeing that I may be identified by name and/or title in printed, internet or broadcast information that might accompany the photographs and/or video recordings of me. Waiving the right to approve the final product. Agreeing that all such portraits, pictures, photographs, video and audio recordings, and any reproductions thereof, and all plates, negatives, recording tape and digital files are and shall remain the property of the University.
3. Releasing, acquitting and forever discharging the State of North Carolina, the University, its current and former trustees, agents, officers and employees of the above-named entities from any and all claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of said photographs and/or video recordings, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.
